The client
WeLykke is a Barcelona startup building a platform where audiovisual professionals manage their work, organise their material and collaborate with each other. Their bet is that AI should not be an add-on but part of the daily workflow: helping you find what you are looking for inside hours of material, shape an idea and share it with the rest of the team. They came to us with the product vision and no in-house technical team to take it to production.
The challenge
The job was to turn a product vision into a real platform, in production and with users, without an internal engineering team to sustain it. And audiovisual work sets a high bar: video files are large and expensive to process, material piles up fast, and searching through it by filename stops working almost immediately. On top of that, every AI feature had to address a task the professional already performs today, and do it better than their current way of doing it, or else it is just noise.
What we did
We took on the digital product end to end: architecture, backend, frontend, model integration and cloud deployment. The platform extracts clips from a video automatically with AI instead of forcing you to scrub through it by hand; it lets you search across all the content in natural language, regardless of how the files were named; and it includes a space to lay out an idea, comment on it, share it with other people and generate a video from it. The AI features were designed around concrete tasks of the audiovisual professional, with the person always in control of the output.

Result
WeLykke has its platform in production and keeps evolving it: audiovisual professionals organise their material, search it in natural language, extract clips and shape their ideas in one place. The team has a technical foundation they can build on without redoing the groundwork.
